About MD
A clear website is a courtesy.
I’m Maneesha Dulshanjan, an independent web designer and developer. I make small, fast websites for people who need to be understood online.
I work at the point where design, writing, and front-end code meet. A page should look considered, but it also has to load quickly, read clearly, and behave well on a basic phone.
Who I am
I’m based in Sri Lanka and work with people remotely. My background is in building and maintaining websites from the inside out: structure, markup, styles, performance, and the small details that make a site feel finished.
I’m not a large agency. I work directly with the person or team making the decisions, which keeps the process short and the result honest.
What I believe
- Fast is a feature. A page that loads quickly respects the reader’s time, data, and device.
- Clarity beats decoration. Type, spacing, and structure should help people find what they came for.
- Accessibility is not optional. Readable contrast, sensible headings, and keyboard-friendly links are part of the build.
- No dark patterns. No fake urgency, hidden costs, or tracking scripts pretending to be content.
How I work
Most projects start with a short conversation and a clear scope. I ask what the site needs to do, who it serves, and what constraints matter. Then I propose the smallest structure that can do the job well.
You get plain-language updates, a working preview, and a handover that explains what was built and how to maintain it. If something is outside my scope, I will say so.
